Confession Time?
I’ve been the biggest Alkaline Trio fan for the last ten years now, but I have to confess - I’ve only listened to Agony & Irony in its entirety twice. I hate it. I really, really do. I might get a lot of hate because it seems to be their most popular album, but it doesn’t feel or sound like Alk3, at all. The only song I can stand (and love) is Do You Wanna Know. Other than that… meh. I can’t listen to it. Matt sounds whiny, the lyrics are sloppy. Every other album though, I can get with. I might be a bad fan, but oh well. All the other albums are great.

Totally agree with you here, Compare Agony and Irony with the likes of Goddamnit or Good Mourning and it sounds like a completly different band, your not a bad fan, you just know your shit
